BLUE STOCKINGS

by Jessica Wale

Directed by Pep Garcia Pascual

SYNOPSIS

Set in 1896 at Girton College, Cambridge, Blue Stockings follows a group of pioneering young women fighting for their right to education. In a world where women’s ambitions are challenged at every turn, these students must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice to prove they are just as capable as their male peers.

With a compelling mix of history, humor, and heart, Blue Stockings is a thought-provoking play that highlights the ongoing struggle for gender equality in education. This production offers an engaging and educational experience, sparking discussion on themes of perseverance, prejudice, and progress.
